We are currently working on two major projects: fundraising for a new scoreboard and bringing electricity to the clubhouse.
- The new scoreboard will enhance the game-day experience for players, coaches, and fans by providing real-time updates and improving overall operations. It also reflects the program’s commitment to excellence.
- Electricity to the clubhouse will allow players to watch game film, dress with proper lighting, and power essential equipment for practices and game-day operations.
These upgrades mark the first step in renovating the Pope John Baseball facility and laying the foundation for future enhancement
We extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the recent Pope John Baseball Super Bowl Fundraiser and to those who made generous donations in support of the new scoreboard project! Thanks to your generosity, we have raised approximately $28,000 through the fundraiser and generous donations.
Our Goals
To complete these projects immediately, we are seeking to raise an additional $10,000 to finalize the scoreboard and $3,500 for the necessary cost of materials needed to bring electricity to the clubhouse. The goal is to have the scoreboard installed this season and electricity to the clubhouse immediately if we are able to raise the necessary funds.
Electrical labor and Excavations costs are being donated by PJ parent Joe Ciliberti, owner of Victory Lighting and PJ Alumni Will Pacala, owner of Lakeview Outdoor Services. Any additional funds raised will go toward upgrades to the batting cages, bullpen, and press box area.
The success of this initiative would not be possible without the amazing Pope John Baseball community. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are tax-deductible and directly benefit the program. We encourage supporters to share this information with local businesses or individuals who may be interested in donating.
